I love to keep a container in the cupboard at all times!  I use activated nuts which I activate by soaking in water overnight and drying in my dehydrator.  Or your can buy activated nuts at your local health food store.  Activating the nuts enhances nutrient availability and makes them easier to digest, but regular nuts are fine.  I vary the combination up a bit.  Sometimes I add dried strawberries fresh from my dehydrator or throw in some chia seeds or brazil nuts.  I also love to toast the pumpkin seeds for that extra crunch!

Use as quick snack anytime of day or great as a breakfast topper over porridge or chia pudding for a boost of antioxidants and essential fatty acids.  Also great to help curb those 3pm sugar cravings!

Ingredients

½ cup activated natural almonds

1/2 cup activated walnuts

½ cup pumpkin seeds (toasted optional)

¼ cup sunflower seeds

½ cup natural sultanas

¼ cup diced dried apricots

 

Method

Combine all ingredients together and store in an airtight container.  Use throughout the day as a healthy, nourishing snack.
